Our Story

A life surrounded by the water

With a passion for Florida's waterways and a commitment to conservation, wildlife, and the Florida Springs, Casey Barrick transformed his love for the springs into a mission with Visibility Forever. From childhood days on the Gulf Coast to exploring the depths of the Florida Springs as a certified Scuba Diver, Casey's journey led him to establish a unique connection between people and nature.

In the spring of 2023, a vision took shape – to engage others in the preservation of Florida through immersive experiences. A year later, equipped with clear kayaks and a wealth of knowledge, Visibility Forever came to life. Offering tours that not only showcase the beauty of the springs but also educate and inspire future generations.

β€œI want to get people out on the water and show them how beautiful our springs are. Teach them about the wildlife and the Florida Aquifer. I want them to care. How can you protect something if you don’t care about it?”

My journey started over a decade ago with paddle board and snorkeling excursions with friends and family, evolving into Scuba Diving in the springs and taking Freediving trips with local divers across the state. In 2023, I thought to myself "How can I get more people involved with Florida conservation?" The answer emerged in the form of simply taking people out into the Florida wilderness and teaching them about this incredible ecosystem.

I have spent the last decade Scuba Diving, Freediving, paddle boarding, fossil hunting, camping with friends, perfecting my underwater photography skills, and observing wildlife. Starting this small business to help protect Florida was a no brainer.

Every penny saved, along with unwavering family support, fueled the process of getting Visibility Forever off the ground. In the world of Scuba Diving, we refer to how far we can see underwater as the β€œvisibility”. To us, the name β€œVisibility Forever” means more than just how far we can see underwater. I want every waterway to stay clean, trash-free, and full of healthy wildlife, no matter what the visibility is like. I want Florida to become a true and pure example of what the natural world should look like, and to showcase its thriving ecosystem.

This family-owned business became not just a venture but a way to invite people to embrace and protect the springs through firsthand experiences.

Each location we offer was carefully planned and explored to give you the best experience on the water possible. We thought of new ideas, ways to make it fun, and set ourselves apart by simply thinking about what’s best for our guests and conservation.
